Edgewood Country Club is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment that supports our chefs and service staff and helps deliver an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and takes pride in keeping work areas clean and running smoothly.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as maintaining cleanliness throughout the dish and kitchen areas. This position works closely with the culinary team to support daily operations and event service.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen areas
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including floors, trash removal, and sanitation tasks
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and kitchen equipment
• Support kitchen staff with additional duties as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
• Attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry items up to approximately 30 pounds
• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required

Schedule & Availability

This position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on club operations and event needs.
