The Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a full-time creative and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team! This role is key in promoting the Chamber’s events, programs, and initiatives, while strengthening our visibility and impact in the community.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and execute marketing campaigns to support Chamber events and membership.
• Manage social media, website, and digital communications.
• Design newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with community partners to highlight businesses and events.
• Coordinate and organize other aspects of marketing and events and to support other Chamber operations as may be needed or directed.  

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of marketing or communications experience.  Sales or development experience is also beneficial.
• Strong writing, design, and digital media and coordination skills.
• Creative, organized, energetic, and ready to engage with the community and members.
• Must also have strong administrative skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must have the ability to build relationships with chamber members, vendors, and sponsors, and have the ability to help retain current members and attract new members to the Chamber.

This position will also require occasional evening and weekend event participation as may be needed or required.  Minimal travel required.

Compensation is commensurate upon experience level and budgetary limits.  Some benefits are provided including paid time off.
