Infant Room Child Care Provider

Do you have a passion for caring for infants and supporting their earliest stages of development? We are seeking a compassionate, attentive Infant Room Child Care Provider to join our fun, caring, and professional team. Since our founding, we have remained committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can grow.
Join our team and provide dedicated care for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months!
Hours of operation are typically 7:00am–5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Shifts may fall anywhere within these hours and follow a 9‑hour schedule with a 1‑hour unpaid lunch break.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Infant experience required (minimum 1 year preferred)
- CDA or ACDS credentials preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a child care center or similar setting
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong understanding of infant safety, routines, and developmental needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide high‑quality, nurturing care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment, following all licensing, health, fire, and safety regulations.
- Diaper changing, feeding, soothing, and maintaining individual infant care routines.
- Prepare bottles, sterilize feeding equipment, mix formula, and assist with age‑appropriate feeding transitions.
- Participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that support emotional, physical, social, and cognitive growth.
- Observe infants and communicate any developmental or emotional concerns to parents/guardians.
- Serve as a positive and nurturing role model in interactions, tone, and behavior.
- Maintain open, positive, and professional daily communication with parents regarding routines, behaviors, and milestones.
- Keep accurate records, including feeding logs, diaper logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure the classroom remains orderly and sanitized; clean surfaces, toys, linens, and equipment regularly.
- Assist with meal service as needed to meet each child’s needs.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing professional development.
- Maintain all required certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid, food handlers, Annual CACFP training).
- Perform other childcare-related duties as assigned by the Classroom Coordinator, Center Director, or person-in-charge.
